Today
You already do the job.
You lead the team, fix what breaks and hit the targets. On the floor, nobody doubts what you can do.
The assessment looks at work you have done, not at classes you have attended. It is an accredited qualification, awarded by our partner awarding organisations, and most people finish in about two months without taking time off.

Two minutes, no obligation
Most people who assume they are not qualified enough turn out to be. This is an indication, not the formal assessment, but it tells you whether the route is worth a conversation before you spend anything.

Here is how that usually goes, and where this route changes the ending.
Today
You lead the team, fix what breaks and hit the targets. On the floor, nobody doubts what you can do.
The gap
Every application asks for a qualification, and that is the one box you cannot tick. The promotion goes to the person with the paper, not the person with the proof.
The trap
Part-time study around a full-time job and a family. The time was never there, and you knew it.
The turn
Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning assesses competence you have already built instead of teaching it back to you. You gather evidence from real projects, decisions and responsibilities. An assessor measures it against the published criteria, and if it meets them you are awarded an accredited qualification.
The result
An accredited qualification, earned from the job you were already doing.
The record so far
Every figure here comes from learners who finished this route while keeping their job. None of them stopped working to study.
*Salary increase and role progression are both measured from the same sample of 300 learners, taken from 12 cohorts of 25, two to three years after qualifying. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed.
Nationwide reach
From Perlis to Sabah, working Malaysians have turned their existing experience into a recognised qualification, assessed in their own state.
Cumulative RPEL certifications to date.
In their words
For years I did a manager's job but couldn't get the title without a paper qualification. This programme finally closed that gap, and I got the promotion.
Mohd Fauzi bin MahmudaLine Manager
A part-time Diploma was never going to fit around my job. RPEL recognised the experience I already had, which made all the difference. Highly recommended.
Jack YeongSales Specialist
I thank the RPEL programme that has accorded formal recognition of my past experience with an accredited Diploma. With this, I am encouraged to further pursue my studies.

The process
The check on this page is an indication, not the decision. We send you a short application form covering your roles, responsibilities and years of experience, and your eligibility is assessed from that.
A named assessor tells you exactly what counts for your role: reports, plans, rosters, budgets, incident records, appraisals you have written. This is most of the two months, and it is the part you control.
Your portfolio is measured against the published criteria. After that, your assessor goes through it with you, checking that the work is yours and that you can explain it. Most learners need two or three sessions. Your assessor decides how many, based on the gaps in your evidence.
The award is issued in your name. Nothing printed on it says whether you earned it through experience or in a classroom.
This Diploma can shorten your next qualification through credit transfer with our partner universities. How much credit, and towards what, is decided by the receiving institution. We go through the options with you once you have qualified.
Questions
Yes. Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning is a national scheme run by HRD Corp, and Silver Boundaries is one of the providers appointed to deliver it. The Diploma is an accredited qualification, benchmarked against Ofqual level descriptors and issued by one of the three UK awarding organisations we are an Approved Centre for, NCFE, TQUK and Highfield Qualifications, for which we are an Approved Centre. It is not MQA-accredited, which matters if your employer specifically requires MQA. We have been delivering with HRDC since 2016, and Malaysian employers widely accept the qualification.
Yes, and some people do. If the evidence does not meet the criteria, the portfolio comes back to you with feedback instead of a pass. The standard stays the same. Nobody passes just by paying and taking part.
The Level 4 Diploma in Leadership & Management is RM 6,000. If your employer contributes to the HRDC levy, the programme is claimable. Your own cost can then be nothing, and we handle the submission on their behalf. If you are self-funding we confirm the figure in writing before you commit to anything.
Evidence is not limited to paperwork you kept. Current work counts, and so do references, witness testimony from people who managed or worked alongside you, and the professional discussion itself. Your assessor works with what you can actually get hold of.
Asking on behalf of a team, not for yourself? Ask about employer enrolment and levy funding.
